Hey VA, Show Me the Money

What is one thing that every human on Earth has in common? Well… a lot of things but…TIME! If you haven’t noticed, one recurring theme for entrepreneurs is how you manage and leverage your time. We chase what gives us the greatest return on our businesses and our personal lives. You know I am going to say… have a VA lend a helping hand! Have you ever done a full-fledged financial overview of your business? Or even for your personal expenses?

Well, this is your sign that it’s time for one!

Since you are currently reading this, I thought I’d offer our readers the chance to try out a VA’s help. I will personally assign my VA to shop around for better prices in whatever category you choose! I know it saves me a lot of money but, depending on your income, it can also save you anywhere between $5,000 and $20,000. Fill out the “Contact Me” form found at the bottom of this page.

The more money you make, the more savings you can get by checking in on your recurring charges and subscriptions. These charges can come from a multitude of places including suppliers, vendors, marketing etc. But you can also apply this to your personal finances and review your car insurance provider, a handyman, or a mortgage payment. Add a VA to this program and there you have it, double the savings and half the work.

Rocket-Money

Have you ever heard of Rocket Money? It’s an application where you upload all of your expenses and it then breaks down categorically what you spend in a year’s time frame. It includes numbers from your banking and your credit cards and creates a visually pleasing overview. Or you find out that, “Man, I spent $2,000 on subscriptions I didn’t even know I was paying for.”

I recommend doing this exercise every year to give you an accurate amount and give yourself an overall perspective of where your money is actually going. It’s a great tool to manage your expenses and pairs nicely with a VA. Follow these simple steps!

  1. Create your categories to review in order of highest to lowest
  2. (Home insurance, mortgage, car insurance, website vendors, lawn companies, cell phone companies, marketing agencies etc).
  3. Input your financials into Rocket Money app (or another similar app).
  4. Share with your VA.
  5. Have your VA find 3 competitors per category
  6. Compare the rates
  7. Use it as leverage & ask for a better or matching rate. Or make a change
  8. Book a luxurious massage – you earned it

*BUSINESS HACK*
I have found that overseas services can get things like websites designed for a mere $1,500 compared to $15,000.

If you apply time and the right way, you will have between $5,000-$25,000 in personal savings and six-figures worth of savings for your business.

Leveraging your time and doing this method, can have a great impact on your personal & business bottom line. Visualize where your money is going. If anyone wants to go through this exercise of shopping vendors, I’ll take up the 3 people. I’m happy to help. Let me know!
